OVERVIEW
The Senior Java Developer will be focused on designing, implementing, and supporting Forum Analytics software technologies.

As a Senior Developer in a nimble organization, you’ll be called on to do everything from technical leadership and product planning to plenty of hands-on implementation and programming. You’ll need to be able to pick up new languages easily and evaluate new products quickly. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the full life cycle of our software products including Planning, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance
- Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
- Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
- Project Planning and Project Management
- Maintain standards compliance
PREREQUISITES
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
- 2+ years of professional software development experience across the entire software life cycle
- Extensive experience with web development in Java
- Substantial experience with database development and performance tuning
- Experience with Struts, Spring, Hibernate, and at least one major JavaScript framework
- Familiarity with both Windows- and Linux-based server environments
- Strong architecture and OO skills
- US citizen or authorized to work in the United States
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
- Any experience with, or exposure to, Google Maps, GIS systems, or spatial data
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and Silverlight
- Experience with Perl, Python, or Ruby
- System administration, networking, and security experience
- Previous experience working for a start-up or a small company
